• Looking to become a ‘Resident’ of New Zealand
• Aged between 20 and 55 years of age
• Offered skilled employment in NZ or are currently working for a NZ employer and
• Can evidence you have the qualifications and/or relevant work experience
• May have Dependants you would like to include in your application if applicable

TO APPLY YOU NEED

• 160 points on the New Zealand Immigration ranking system; which in most cases, but not always, requires a job offer in New Zealand
• Know if the points you claim can be used under instructions
• Be aware that not all professions can be used to apply for Residency under this Category
• Be aware that not all applicants are selected from the Migrant Pool
• Be able to evidence your application with hard proofs in the format Immigration New Zealand require

ORDER OF REQUIRMENTS FOR APPLICATION

• Gather your documents together in advance
• Submit an electronic Expression of Interest into the Migrant Pool
• Be selected and pass through first check
• Invited to Apply
• Submit a full Residency application with supporting hard evidences
• Approved in Principle at Immigration’s discretion
• Passports labelled and off to New Zealand
